Back in the US after a year and a half in Afghanistan. Man that place sucks!!
Ironically gear is sold in the bazaars but you cant get there to get it. Where I was, anything outside the wire required a force protection escort of three uparmored vehicles. Sort of hard to justify that to the powers that be to go shopping.
Anyway, the sponsors on this board were very helpful and I have had 100% delivery both there and here.
Also im no longer the frail looking old man I was when I went over there. I went from 168 pounds with a 32-33 waist to 200 pounds with a 32 inch waist. Good routines, consistent workouts and great gear and advice from here made all the difference.
I went to the Caribbean for a vacation with my wife. First time she had seem me in over a year. I had been working on my tan while in the Stan and looked like I was ready to step on stage as to color.
At the beach I was wearing board pants when we went out to get our spots on the sand. Then I did something I would have never done before. Off come the shorts and Im sporting a black set of posing trunks.
My wife like to had a heart attack.
Thanks Hypermuscles folks/ This would have never happened without the help and encouragement. I did catch several of the girls comparing this 56 year old geezer to there companions. I looked better, I fell like Im 20 and got hit on every night at the resort lounge at night. Talk about ego boosting.
