Do 8-12 reps per set for growth.

No, only do 4-6 reps per set for growth.

I'd say different strokes for different folk try it all and find what works for you

I work mostly in the 4 to 6 rep range and find it works for me. Having said that, when I change to 8 to 12 it seems to work as well. I just prefer 5 rep range.

Low reps for strength & size.
High reps for cardio.
I like to get my high from LO reps/Heavy Weights!

Loved by some, Hated by most, but RESPECTED BY ALL
