Definitely agree.

When I was having back problems years ago I stopped squats and deadlifts. It was just too risky. But with hindsight I can't help wondering whether I should have lowered the weight right down and built up some good core strength.

I'll never know but I'm definitely glad they play a big part in my workouts these days. I highly recommend them.
