^^ Solid advice. Learn, apply, learn, apply, learn some more. One year of training you've got SO much to learn you probably don't even realize it. I've had the opportunity to train with many trainers, CFL players, AM bodybuilders and still learn something new every day. Get yourself a solid foundation of at least 4-5 years of hard training, good diet, etc. first.

Everyone's so impatient and thinks that results are going to come very fast and then are discouraged when they don't. They may at first but it will slow off considerably and then you may add 10lbs to your squat every month, or 5lbs to your shoulder press every month. Consistency is key.
