Ogy's Training Log
#21

Thanks Kornfed Big Grin

Crap at keeping journals though, been hitting the gym more and more so on top of running I'm eating shit loads!!! not shifting the weight I need to before next week but looking pretty good muhahahaha

Yesterday I did 5 miles on the treadmill (hill setting) before training my shoulders and arms.

Tonight about 4 miles (roads been retarmacced so had to do a different route, I'm a creature of habit so it knocked me off a bit lol)

Full hour in the Gym today

Granted 35 mins were on the treadmillBig GrinBig Grin

Fuck off besty hill workout

ranged from running flat incline to 15% incline
3 - 5 min intervals
the basis is when you feel fucked and the lactic acid is raging instead of slowing down and walking you compensate the speed for height working new muscle sets then run at that new incline gradually dropping the speed then up the incline and repeat

it just stops the boredom of dreadmills

Then I fired off some upper body, chest and back.

Should have done weights first really because everybody thought I was sweating like fuck because I was doing incline chest hahaha Big GrinBig GrinBig Grin

I normally would Kf, I'd planned a good hour on the treadmill but after doing the hill reps I was goosed after 35! Figured I'd do some lightweight high reps just to loosen up really, won't be doing it again thoughBig Grin

Loving it, heat wave gone, nice dark dingy nights are upon us!!

Done various 4 miles and a beasty 26 mile hike

been out tonight for a chilly run, did 4 miles at fast pace

Got a stitch today, first one in ages, forgot how much they tan!!
Great tip for getting rid of stitches is to stop, breath hard and press with two fingers on the stitch, when it's gone, give it a minute and crack on!!

i tried to run through it for about a mile and half untill I got pissed off with myself and stopped lol

no mate, a stitch is the pain in the bottom side of your stomach when you run too hard or too fast.
