I think it's a good idea for things like links to other forums because members will see the links and check them out meaning that forums get more members including HM, Members can join other forums and put the HM link in their sigs on them.
It's a bad idea if it's for sources/suppliers because that means sources will be getting free advertrising instead of paying like normal sponsors do, it also means that they would not be checked out like our sponsors are which would lead people open to scammers.
