Juicing

Juicing will help your concentration: pulp fiction

As well as slipping gains, your focus is likely to suffer during intense juicing. The excess plant produce means you’ll be taking in a lot of fructose instead of glucose, and you brain will feel the squeeze. “Glucose is the brain’s first and primary fuel,” says McCreary. “Low levels negatively effect concentration and continued low levels can make you irritable or even nauseous.”

Try this Smoothie instead - works best with frozen veg.

2 or 3 Brussels sprouts
A sprig or 2 of broccoli
1 or 2 spinach nuggets
Blueberries, strawberries or raspberries to taste
Some Greek yoghurt (optional)
Couple of forks of sauerkraut (best source of probiotics)
Whey powder
And a spoonful of milkshake powder for the taste if the veg is too strong.

It's an excellent way to get most of your 5 a day down (and especially the green stuff we all try and avoid)

And unlike juicing, you'll consume all the fibre as well.
