Fastest you have ever driven (allegedly!)
The fastest I can remember going is 155 mph (on a private road )I've been a little faster on two wheels also on a private road

140mph on a motorbike in the UK - many, many years ago. Had to hold my crash helmet on in case the chinstrap broke and it flew off.
150mph+ in a car about 2am on an autoroute in France. Not as long ago.
Both allegedly!
I think those days are gone now though . . .

A number of years ago, I owned a 2008 Suzuki GSX-R 1000. I spent around $5,500 building the engine. After the engine build, the bike dyno'd at 195 HP at the rear wheel. This bike was crazy fast. Would power wheelie in 4th gear.
Late one evening, I rode across the Howard Franklin Bridge between Tampa and St. Petersburg, FL with the speedo pegged at 197 MPH. Figure I had to be doing at least 180 MPH?
