Default How do you get yourself motivated?

Thought this might prove to be a useful thread for everyone.

We all go through times when we just "can't be arsed". We all see the barrage of Motivational quotes on Facebook/Twitter/IG etc but yet, it still effects everyone, at one time or another. Sometimes at the most inopportune of moments, so...
How do you deal with these times?
Do you have certain things that act as a 'pick me up' that are your go to motivators/inspirations that never fail?
Are you motivated/inspired only by people/events specific to fitness?
Do you have any general techniques that work for you? or do you just jack it in and wait till you feel that motivational kick again?

I won't go on, but I hope you can see what I'm trying to build in this thread? A point of reference for anyone to pick up any ideas that might help them when they are just feeling a bit down.
