Cardio is important, especially if you're competing in Fitness, BB or PL. Basically, I was never a runner/jogger, except when attending police academy. If you can't run, walk. Do the treadmill rather a running trail. If either of those effect your ankle, try stainmaster. I love it. It's a faster way to lose weight in half of the time.
