Question Issues with injecting my leg, need advice please.

Hi guys.
Member known as Mr. Biceps provided me with a very good injection website which I looked at for leg injections. This is the only area of my body I can bring myself to stick myself with a pin. I do my quads. When doing the injection I do not encounter a nerve, as there is no twitching and any muscle jumping during the pinning.
After one day, my leg feels sore. The area of the injection has a knot and my quad is very stiff. This lasts for approx three days and my quad also feels very warm almost as if my leg has a mild fever. I do the proper alcohol swabbing of the injection site and I know the hygiene protocols for safety and cleanliness.
Do I don't know why my leg becomes warmish hot like it has a fever at the injection area and my leg is stiff and the muscle has a knot, all lasting for about three days then it all goes away.
What the hell is going on. What if anything am I doing wrong.
I experienced this approx 2 years ago which was my last cycle. And now which was the first injection in two years since last injection.
Is what I've described normal? I'm thinking, no.
Thank you for your feedback.
