Default Not Tracking your Macros

I've mentioned this a few times so might as well give it a separate section. Tracking your macros (protein, carbohydrates and fat) is absolutely crucial to consistent progress. It’s impossible to pinpoint the issues in your diet if you aren’t tracking your daily calorie consumption. You could spend weeks sitting at the same weight scratching your head as to why you aren’t growing when simply referring to a nutritional log would have given you the answer right away. “Hmm, my weight hasn’t gone up in the past two weeks and it looks like I’ve been consuming about 2400 calories a day. Let’s bump that up to 2600 and see what happens” – voila, next week your weight has gone up by 0.5-1 pound. These types of adjustments simply aren’t possible without a log.
