Any of you guys hike?
I love it, probably more than running, I've done numerous long hikes, 42 miles etc. I especially like long hikes, wild camp then hike back
I'm out in the morning, a real tricky 26 miler
Only got told yesterday that it's orienteering too and out of our group I'm the only one that can map read!!! No pressure then
If you don't hear from me for a while I'm lost on't moors

Skinny man, i know you hike, any excuse to shoot shit hahaha

This ones out on the North York Moors
I love hiking on the moors when it's Autumn, usually it'll be cold, boggy and bleak!
However for some reason we are in the throes of a heat wave and it'll be 27' and sweaty balls time!!

Yep I'll take any excuse I can to get into the wild. I don't do much shooting I'm an ultra light guy- meaning my pack weight is less that 15 lbs(includes water and food) for about four days and guns weigh a ton. But I've got some really cool shit!!! That doesn't weigh a thing. I sleep in a hammock I have a flash light that weighs lik 2 ounces that can be seen for like 2 miles and last for 700 hours etc. I've done a lot of research.

exactly mate, that's where I'm heading but it's just friggin freezing over here lol, I have some ultra lightweight bits of kit but my one man tent is a fair whack heavier than a hammock, I'll take the weight over bag storage and dryness.
Do you string a tarp over the hammock??
The 26 miler the other day was great, our time was proper shite and my navigating was shocking. we did still beat some runners though haha

All good kit man. The only trouble with a hammock in the Scottish Highlands you can't always find a flipping tree.
