time of day
 
what time of day do people go to gym

i normally do cardio during lunch hour at work then of an evening after put kids to bed i do wieght training

now due to it being valentines day i went during lunch to do wieght training instead of tonight so could spend time with misses

but i found it wierd and did not have motivation i do of an evening
got me thinking why this could be
could it be due to just its the routeen im stuck it so never felt right
or could it be by 8pm when go gym i have had 5 meals by then good hit of carbs and come pre workout drink
or something else
i have been thinking about swapping over and doing it other way round but now in 2 minds as want to push as hard as do normally

any thought would be nice

I've heard that the best time is 6 hours before you go to sleep. For me since I work at night it's 9-10pm. In my opinion it's all in your head thought,it doesn't really make much difference when you go as long as it's not right before bed. Logic says it's better to go 2-3 hours after you wake up because the mind is more alert then.

I usually go to the gym around 6-7. There's a few reason why, 1 I can't wake up earlier enought to go. 2nd I get out of work late come relax have per work out drink and then hit the gym and hope people are leaving by the the time I get there cause its always packed with people that are not gonna be there more than a few months
