Every bodybuilder is a legend so long as they're recognized as one. Many bodybuilders have stolen the show with their great physiques and expert posing. Who Is Kevin Levrone?​
Kevin Levrone is more than a bodybuilder. He indeed loves bodybuilding but he is still recognized as an actor, a musician, and a blogger.

His full name is Kevin Mark Levrone. Throughout his career, he has contested 68 IFBB professional competitions. He is an IFBB Hall of Famer and has won different awards, championships, competitions, and tournaments.

On the 16th of July, 1965, Kevin Levrone was born to an Italian father and an African American mother in Baltimore, Maryland. This makes him a citizen of both Italy and America. However, Kevin had a tragic childhood seeing as he lost both of his parents to cancer (they were cancer patients).

The tragedy didn't stop there because after he lost his parents he also lost some of his relatives to cancer. Kevin is the last of the five children his parents had.

Kevin decided to put an end to his family's history of dying from cancer. He found an opportunity in bodybuilding and he decided to give it his all. He was encouraged to venture into bodybuilding by his cousin. His cousin who just returned from the military had an impressive physique because he was always visiting the gym.

Kevin was serious about bodybuilding, so he visited the gym often, took his bodybuilding diet seriously, and soon he started to compete in local bodybuilding shows.

Kevin is a private person, and although he has a huge fan base on his social media, he keeps his life private. He never discusses anything about his relationship or romantic affairs with the public. But according to some rumours, it is believed that Kevin is married to a beautiful wife.

Kevin is not only a famous bodybuilder, he's an actor who has featured in different movies. He acted in Muscle Machine-M3 and Full Blow. These movies were all centred around bodybuilding.

In 2016, he launched The Levrone Report, which was his online training program. This training program is a fitness and training blog where he informs his audience on tips about exercises and bodybuilding.

In 2015, he launched his own supplement company, Kevin Levrone Signature Series. He provides supplements for other bodybuilders and the distribution of his products spread across other European countries.

Kevin Levrone Bodybuilding Career​
Kevin started bodybuilding professionally in 1991. He entered the NPC finals and placed first that year. A year later, he competed in the Grand Prix England competition and placed second. That same year, he placed first in the Night of Champions.

In 1992, he placed 2nd in Mr Olympia. After this competition, he experienced a severe injury in 1993. He tore his major and minor pectoral while he was working out. He had to undergo compulsory surgery to reattach them.

He ended up having two surgeries because while healing after the first one, he had an infection and needed to be operated on again.

Everyone had thought that was the end of Kevin's career, however, Kevin proved them wrong by contesting for the 1993 Mr Olympia where he placed 5th. He was runner-up in Mr Olympia four times; in 1992 and 1995 behind Dorian Yates. And in 2000 and 2002 behind Ronnie Coleman. Kevin was nicknamed the Uncrowned King of Mr Olympia.

After his injury, Kevin stopped weightlifting for a while but he continued to participate in bodybuilding shows. He won different shows like the Grand Prix Spain, Arnold Classic, San Francisco Pro Invitational and Grand Prix England. Throughout his bodybuilding career, he has won 23 trophies and many medals for placing 2nd and 3rd in the competition.

In 2003, he insinuated that he was going to round off his bodybuilding days by competing in the show of strength Pro Championship. Although he never announced publicly that he was going to retire, he, however, started to feature in different movies and engage in other sports like tennis and golf. He also started his supplement company in 2015 and he started an online training program too.

After many years of not participating in bodybuilding, he caught everyone by surprise when he said he was going to compete in 2016, with Mr Olympia. Upon his comeback, his upper physique had improved greatly. Even though he didn't turn out to be the winner of Mr Olympia, his fans still considered him the Champion of the 2016 Mr Olympia.

Kevin won many awards, medals and trophies. In 1991, he placed second in the Junior Nationals. In the NPC Nationals that same year, he placed first.

In 1992, he placed first in the Grand Prix Germany competition, in the Grand Prix England competition, he placed second. He placed 3rd in the Chicago Pro invitational. He placed first in the Night of Champions and he placed second in Mr Olympia.

In 1993, he came 5th in the Grand Prix France competition. Later that year, he placed 2nd in the Grand Prix Finland. He placed 3rd in the Grand Prix Spain competition. In the Grand Prix Germany Competition that year, he placed 1st. Also, he placed 5th in the 1993 Mr Olympia and placed 3rd in the Grand Prix England competition.



In 1994, he placed first in the San Jose Pro Invitational. He placed 2nd place in the Grand Prix France competition, he placed 1st in the Grand Prix Italy competition and placed 1st at the Arnold Classic. That same year, he placed 3rd in Mr Olympia. He placed 2nd in the Grand Prix Spain Competition and Placed 2nd in the Grand Prix Germany competition. And for his last competition of that year, he placed 2nd in the Grand Prix England competition.

In 1995, he placed 2nd at Mr Olympia, then he placed 1st in the Grand Prix Spain competition. In the same year, he placed 2nd in the Grand Prix Germany competition, and he placed 2nd in the Grand Prix England competition. He placed 1st in the Grand Prix Russia competition and 1st again in the San Jose Pro Invitational.


In 1996, he placed 1st at the Arnold Classic and he placed 1st in the San Francisco Pro Invitational. He placed 3rd in that year's Mr Olympia and 3rd in the Grand Prix Spain competition and 4th in the Grand Prix Germany competition. Also, he placed 4th in the Grand Prix England competition and 2nd in the Grand Prix Czech Republic competition. He placed 3rd in the Grand Prix Switzerland competition and 5th in the Grand Prix Russia.

In 1997, he placed 8th in the Arnold Classic competition and placed 4th in Mr Olympia. He came first in the Grand Prix Hungary, 1st in the Grand Prix Spain, 1st in the Grand Prix Germany and 1st in the Grand Prix England. That's not all because, in the Grand Prix Czech Republic competition, he placed 1st, in the Grand Prix Finland competition, he placed first and to round off that year, he placed 2nd in the Grand Prix Russia competition.

In 1998, he placed 1st in the San Francisco Pro Invitational, he placed 2nd in the Toronto Pro Invitational, he placed 2nd in the Night of Champions and 4th in Mr Olympia. That year, he placed 2nd in the Grand Prix Germany and 2nd in the Grand Prix Finland competition.

In 1999, he placed 2nd at the Arnold Classic, 4th in Mr Olympia, he placed 3rd in the World Pro Championships and he placed 3rd in the Grand Prix England competition.

In 2000, he placed 2nd at Mr Olympia and 3rd at the Arnold Classic and one year later in 2001 he placed 1st at the Grand Prix England competition.

In 2002, he placed 5th at the Arnold Classic, 4th at the Grand Prix Australia and 2nd in Mr Olympia.

In 2003, he placed 5th at the Arnold Classic, 6th in Mr Olympia and he placed 3rd in the Show of strengths Pro Championships.

In 2016, he placed 16th at Mr Olympia and then he finally retired.

As evident in his accomplishments throughout his career, Kevin has amassed enough wealth from acing bodybuilding competitions. His estimated net worth is $2.3 million.
