Chris Cormier Biography
Chris Cormier also known as the "The Real Deal" was born in Palm Springs, California in 1967. He is an IFBB professional bodybuilder and he's considered one of the best bodybuilders to have ever graced a bodybuilding stage.

From his childhood, he had always had a different kind of love for the sport. He performed excellently in sports, but he used to be a shy person especially when he was not competing.

He joined his school weight lifting club and was introduced to weight lifting competitions. He would participate in these contests and perform excellently. In his first weight lifting competition, he placed first.

As his passion for weight lifting began to increase, Chris got a hang of how his nutrition and diet should go. He improved on his diet and nutrition and his physique began to make significant progress.

By 1993, Chris had earned his Pro Card. During his professional career as a bodybuilder, Chris participated in 70 professional bodybuilding competitions. Out of the 70 competitions, he won the overall title a total of 11 times and he placed within the top 5, a total of 52 times. That's an excellent performance and it shows that Chris always wanted to be the best.

Now, all Chris wants is to be the best and help others achieve their full potential while at it. Chris says that many people wouldn't understand the battle he had with his shyness. He was so shy that he had to miss out on his first bodybuilding competition when he was 15 because he was too frightened to pose on stage.

Chris admitted that he had to keep fighting that battle because even till he became a pro, every competition looked scary to him. But because he has gained enough experience over the years, he's able to conceal his fear from prying eyes. In 1993, Chris participated again in that competition and he was able to place better than in his first contest. He won the first place trophy this time as against his 4th position in his first contest.

This win paved the way for him to earn his Pro Card which will give him the privilege to participate in IFBB competitions both nationally and internationally.

Cormier participated in his first Mr Olympia in 1994, and in that competition, he placed 6th. In that same year, he joined his Arnold Classic and iron man pro competition. He placed 4th in the Arnold Classic and 2nd in the Iron man Pro Invitational.

In 1995, he participated in his first Night of Champions tournament(which is now known as the New York Pro), and he finished in the 6th position.

Cormier has appeared several times in different bodybuilding magazines among which is Muscular Development magazine.

However, Cormier's bodybuilding career was put on hold for a while after he was hospitalized with an infected spine. The doctors say the injury is related to bodybuilding. This event happened when it was almost time for him to train with the legendary and multiple times Mr Olympia winner, Dorian Yates. For him to recover, he had to go through extensive physiotherapy.

Cormier couldn't get past that injury as he sustained another one too which involved his triceps. At that point, Chris had no choice but to retire from bodybuilding.

Nonetheless, Chris's passion for bodybuilding was still very much alive and he continued to impact the bodybuilding industry even though he wasn't competing on stage.

Since then, Chris has chosen to dedicate his time and effort to helping upcoming athletes achieve their fitness goals.

He uses the experience that has gathered from years of competing in over 70 IFBB competitions to impact young ones. Although he wasn't able to win any Arnold classic title, he was a 6 time first runner-up.

Chris Cormier Networth
Most bodybuilders can get their wealth from winning bodybuilding competitions like the Mr Olympia price money which is $400,000. Besides this, some go a step further in owning supplement companies that provide supplements for other companies.

Chris didn't win any Mr Olympia competition, and nor does he own a supplement company. This means all his wealth comes from his bodybuilding career. Chris Cormier is estimated to be worth $1.5 million making him one of the most wealthy bodybuilders in the world.
On a final note;
Without an iota of doubt, it can be said that Chris has impacted the bodybuilding industry in one way or the other. He's also a source of motivation to other bodybuilders because despite his busy schedule he always made time for his family.

In his own words, Chris said: "I’m not just a person who heads out to the clubs every chance he gets. It’s the opposite for me. When I can spend time with my family, I do".

Chris has served his time as a professional bodybuilder but he didn't stop there. He has taken it upon himself to help the younger generation of bodybuilders achieve their maximum potential. He's using both his experience as a bodybuilder and the passion he has for the sport to help others and this has consequently built him a large loyal client base.
