"Caffeine causes the body to rely more on fat for fuel during a workout, rather than glucose," Aceto says. "But the caffeine effect is lessened when you eat a high-carbohydrate meal with it." Drink 1-2 cups of black coffee within two hours of working out, and emphasize healthy fats and protein if you're drinking it with a meal or snack. Skip the cream and sugar (which add unwanted calories and fat), and avoid drinking coffee at other times of the day; doing so can desensitize you to the fat-burning effects of caffeine.

i start the morning with it normally the half open one left ion the night stand from the night before

Love it but with milk :) Usually drink a huge cup in the morning.

I have enough energy for workout :)

Has anyone tried Muscle Milk Coffee? I work out very early in the morning and I have to have 1 or 2 cups of coffee but I can not drink it black! The way I like it is with a good bit of sugar and creamer and we all know that isnt good for you! One morning I was getting ready to go work out and I realized I was out of creamer and milk but I was downing a muscle milk at the time so I poured some in my coffee and it actually was very good! I didnt even need to put sugar in my coffee cause the muscle milk gave it the sweetness! Yall try it out!

coffee makes me sick even the smell of it can put me off. i just stick with caffine powder :P

Black stout community coffee for me. One cup with my 6 egg whites & 2 whole egg. 1 cup oatmeal before my morning work out keeps me running. I'm lucky enough to have my own laying hens. Country life
