Default building my ultimante home gym

this is not home workout BS stuff
Ive been searching the net for the best home gyms and I am surprised at the stupidity of what is given as REAL MAN home gyms. I cant be smarter than the rest of these folks but it sure looks like it. They are spending gobbs of cash on crap so what is my knowitall answer? Ill share it with you.
First let me list the equipment I have, In fact I purchased some of this today.

Promaxia 171 leg press I paid 325 bucks Retail 6k
Promaxia dual leg curl P115 Again I paid 215 retail 5500
Smith rack
incline decline and flat benches All Promaxia commercial stuff
Life fitness eliptical
1500 in plates
bars straight (2)
inner and outer thigh abductor machine
full cross over cable system
curl bars, all the cable attachments
bench press racks
preacher curl bench
pec deck (promaxia)
Hammerstrengh ground base jammer
steel dumb bells set 5 -65 lbs with rack
calf raise machine
there is more too but that is the main stuff

All this was bought at govdeals.com auctions Ive got less than 2500 in everything The retail cost that Ive priced on the exact same stuff used from a fitnass equip store was over 30k
so my question ois why am I the only one I can find doing it this way?

ill post as the rest of the auctions close
once I get it all in and set up ill post pics. I alreay have a good setup and it is in one of the other threads but I wanted to fill some holes I had in the equipment.
the goal is to have a professional gym that is mine and i can use without distractions. my wife and i are building a new house and im putting in a room dedicated for the gym. not a space in the garage or basement but a full on gym. now to find a lifting partner that wants to have a first class place to workout for free.
im still working on nmy goal to compete in a master's class in a few years. at 57 i have a few years to work on it still but im getting there

ive got free weights but im concentrating on machines because im most likely will be working out alone and with a torn shoulder already caused by a SHITTY spotter, im staying with stuff that i can protect nyself from getting hurt on due to losing stability on a free weight lift

just try to remember when pressing tuck ur shoulders back and down.. this will take alot of resistance off the shoulder.. and take out the amortization of the rep and ull be able to acheive a better contraction with out doing the normal ROM.. WITH GREATER RESULTS..
