Since I've read this, I've been taking coffee (along with water) during weight training.

I used to really love Men's Health for it's useful and practical workout information, but these days it's like it's being written by lecturing women .

P.S

Coffee is a stimulant so some people drink it prior to exercise to give you more energy, why you would have it during ?

Never seen anyone have a coffee whilst working out.
Dont think it is something I will try, to be honest.

Coffee during workouts? very unusual ..before is good though a nice strong expresso wakes you right up pre workout!

Sorry guys but I sometimes take a coffee into a workout but then the kitchen is just across the hall. I train at home.

If you train at home why not but do you drink it pre workout not during do you ,? cant imagine finishing a set then grabbing a hot coffee for refreshment!!:confused:

Caffeine is a stimulant, and has an effect similar to adrenaline and sympathetic stimulation on the body and the heart ,,, which is good in average doses
but as people said,,, no need to drink in the middle of your training :D :D

Black coffee when you are on the stairmaster. Keep ya going strong, while seperating those muscles in ya legs :)
