Dirty Bulk pure Bull shit!

The logic behind the “dirty bulk” is sound: When you take in more calories you will put on more “size” and in the iron game size is everything.
This is particularly true for guys that are new to training and/or the typical “hard gainer.” However, this line of reasoning begins to break down when “size” relates to building an impressive and shredded physique. In fact, it’s pure bullshit.

A sloppy bulk is the equivalent of you giving two middle fingers to discipline by shoving anything that is edible down your throat. Unless you possess superior genetics (even then that may not save you) you will in all likelihood end up looking like the Nutty Professor by the end of your dirty bulk.

Girls who see you at the club will not think “wow, this guy has a great body!” Instead, they will say to themselves “this guy looks like he just won a pie eating contest.” The Lee Priest approach to the bulk is on it’s way out.

Fella aimed at the 12 month dirty bulkers ..More lifters are staying in shape, or close to it, all year round and it is advisable that you do the same because discipline and building a great body go hand-in-hand.
Your “dirty bulk” flies in the face of that principle.
You can go ahead and eat all the pizza, burgers, fries, ice cream and other comfort foods you want until you are ready to puke but at the end of the day you will be a fat ass.
Cheat meals have a purpose but you should not be making a lifestyle out of them

He's right, if you accomplished a lot on a dirty bulk, think what you could have done eating clean.

If you want to rock an ass so large it looks like it belongs on the back of an elephant then be my guest .
The reason I say that is because I assume (and I could be wrong) that at some point when you chose to pick up a barbell you also chose not to look like everyone else. If you chose to be different then stop making the same food choices everyone else makes! There is and will always be a distinction between junk food and health food.

Carbs that are simple and processed send your blood sugar and insulin levels on a roller coaster ride to hell, which ultimately leads to insulin resistance. Insulin resistance further inhibits your body’s ability to shuttle nutrients to your muscles leading to decreased gains from your training.
All of the saturated and trans-fats in the garbage you are eating will cause arterial plaque build up, putting you at risk for hypertension and a host of other cardiovascular problems. (Note: This risk is multiplied if you are “enhanced” during this dirty bulk.)
You are not creating the optimal nutritional environment to build lean muscle and stay lean.

I know this is slightly off topic, but I'd just like to add that 'neat, unadulterated' saturated fat is different and acts differently to the saturated fat that comes hand in hand with these bad carbs.

I also despair the fact that so many people just can't see that saturated fat is not a bad thing to eat.

There have always been professors/doctors and other nutritional 'experts' who speak out at this society driven myth and fortunately recently there are a lot more joining them.

This is just one of many and worth reading . . .The Diet-Heart Myth: Cholesterol and Saturated Fat Are Not the Enemy

Even if you don't necessarily believe it, try to have an open mind and do your own research and see if you can't appreciate that nature's own food stores will always be better and healthier for us than man's efforts at trying to offer alternatives that basically offer to repair the damage caused and not prevent them.

Anyone still think that statins are all they were hyped up to be?

The reality is that a dirty bulk results in greater total gains across the spectrum (i.e fat!) but you will have to address that issue at some point, not to mention the fact that by now you may not be able to see your own dick.
