rarely do them but this thread reminded me about this exercises which must be a part of chest training program.

CC, how are you shoulders reacting when doing this ex?

Default Decline Press

Very sharp pain in both shoulders when I do this exercise. I do the decline fly instead.....no pain from this.

Haven't done them in years....there great for your ego...let you use more weight, because of shorter distance one has to press the weight. I feel it does little for chest development!

It's really strange! When I train I don't feel any pain in the shoulder,
As soon as I finish it kills!!!

once a month for the time being. decline is pretty easy on the shoulders

I train alone so I won't risk it the idea of the weights comming down and me not being able to push back up scares me but biomechanically they do target chest the best and u can do some ridiculous weights.

I haven't done decline In a while.....i might add them to my next 8wk routine

every chest day incline flat decline i feel like i am missing a muscle group.if i dont hit all three den dumb bells dips finish with push ups.
