Not Using the Right Supplements

Too many people ignore supplements that will accelerate their gains – why put in all the hard work at the gym and on diet only to fall short because you didn’t consume the right products?

Tons of people dont use the right products to accelerate their muscle growth or fat loss, instead they waste their money of useless products with flashy packaging that promise huge return for the huge price tag but dont get what they paid for. Ive worked in the supplement industry for many years and looking back at it I can say that 80% of the products that come out year after year are garbage, only 20% are actual products with real science behind them that work.

BCAA
Creatine
Pre-workout
Muli-Vitamins
a fat burner like "ECA stack"

thats basically all you really need, but Im a sucker at times too I find myself buying supps that I dont really need

creatine I have and do think its worth it out of all supps
BCAA I only ever use during cutting take them before fasted cardio this is only for fact don't want muscle breakdown while fasted

protein is every day as quick for breaky and just done thing after workout

Whey protein (probably four times a day as it's a health drink as well as a muscle builder and it gets a pint of water down every time I drink one)
Used to use creatine which I swear by but for some reason hardly ever use anymore
Never really saw the need for additional aminos and Bcaas etc as I get more than enough from the whey shakes. Just means more expense as far as I'm concerned

Nowadays I tend to use health supplements more than bodybuilding supps:
Fish oil
Vitamin C
Low dose aspirin
Zinc
B vitamins
Potasium and Magnesium
and very recently CoQ10

Saw a program on the box a while back (usual bollocks) where eminent experts declared that most of us using vitamins and minerals were wasting our money as we should get all we need from the food we eat.

To prove it they showed us a 'perfect' plate of food! Yeah great! If we all had the time, the patience, the desire and the money to eat a 'perfect' meal every time we eat then maybe they're right. Doesn't account for the lack of nutrients in the soil or the lack of vitamins in food that has been flown half way around the world before eventually finding it's way to our plates though!

I'm no expert but apparently there's bugger all selenium left in the soil.

As far as I'm concerned supplements like vitamins and minerals are insurance.
