Question To much body fat?

Hey guys!

I just ordered some test p from Huge Tom along with clomid, arimidex and nolva.

I think my diet is pretty ok.
I'm about 180cm tall and about 94 kg now. But my bodyfat is pretty high - probably at 20-25%.
The problem is I'm having a hard time losing the fat. I do cardio after most workouts. Either crosstrainier for 30minutes at heart rate ~140 or high intensity training on a treadmill with 2min high intensity(~175) and 2 minutes low intensity.

Meals are about 5 to 6 per day.
Some eggs with wholegrain bread in the morning.
Mostly chicken/turkey breast with rice and broccoli through out the day.
Maybe some peanuts - a shake with milk and protein and/or some cottage cheese before bed.

Try to get around 3300 kcal a day - gotta learn how to achieve this goal more accurately - I'm missing a few 100 kcal on some days.

Question is:
Can I start with my test p cycle anyways while trying to get my diet on spot?
(Even if I'm far from lean right now)

regards,
V

Hey!

Well, I've been far to less for the last two years - never counted calories. I ate good food, but too less from it.
I started eating about 3000kcal about a month ago. So I guess my metabolism is still low and takes time to speed up.
I took some psychotropic drugs too because I suffered from depression. That lies behind me now, but those drugs slowed my metabolism down too.

That's my explanation for the fact that I eat good food and train hard but lose no body fat.

Are you still on those drugs now?
If not you could try T4, It's a thyroid drug and will speed up the metabolism
You do need to be careful with this kind of drug though so make sure you research it first and if you have any questions just ask, we are always happy to help

Thanks Cornish!

I'm off those damn things now.
Since a few month I'm free from depression.

I have some t3 at hand - but I don't know if it is legit.
It's from alpha pharma. I got it from an uk based online store (Don't how much detail is allowed on this board)

Do you think i should take a low dose like about 50mg a day?

regards and thanks for your help here,
V

Default hmm?

ssri's and snr's take along time to get out of your system. You should google the meds you were taking and look at the half life of the drug and how long the drug basicly stays in your system. If your body and mind are still in a state of recovery from these meds then I would advise against ANY compounds. You should eat right train and rest well for at least 6 more months. Drop your body fat to at LEAST 15 percent and then you will enjoy these compounds so much more ! I promise man...

@ Warmachine:
Well, I stopped using them at the end of last September, except for cymbalta. I stopped using this one about 1.5 month ago. The half life of cymbalta is about 12 hours (according to wikipedia) - "Duloxetine has an elimination half-life of about 12 hours"

So I should be good to go, right?

As fast as my body fat is concerned - I tried nearly everything and I'm quite frustrated about this topic. I put so much effort in losing fat - tired low intensitiy cardio, high intensitiy, eating less, eating more, working out like one crazy motherfucker. Nothing ever really worked.

I gotta say - I had my abs visible once. It was in 2009. I trained almost everyday, ate less and started every workout with about 30 to 45 minutes of cardio. Don't know why it worked back then - it makes no sense at all to me today.
I tried that once again about a year ago due to desperation, but no wonder my body fat increased.

So I don't really know what to do?

I figured I would gain some size with a short 8-to 10 week test p cycle and continue eating right the whole time so my metabolism can adopt to the amounts I'm eating these days and then it's gotta work out over the next few month, right?
